Do you carry your zap drive or flash drive with you? Do you leave your important RAW images, Zip files or other important files at the mercy of unreliable and unsafe devices which often are found with someone which it is not intended to or with someone who took the liberty of not letting the owner know of its absence.
Not anymore.
The almighty Google gives us a new solution to our problem of slipping flash drives and gives us a new strength of sharing whatever we want to from the clouds. It has given us the power upgrade to upload and access files up-to 250mb of any kind in Google Docs!
Like previously files would be categorized as private, public or shared to specific set of users, but now it wont just be restricted to a dozen or so office file-types. The almighty itself suggests a few usages of this new service …
…instead of carrying a USB drive, you can now use Google Docs as a more convenient option for accessing your files on different computers…
…an architect can share large schematic files with her construction firm, while a P.T.A. member can share large graphic files for posters with other members…

Google Apps Premier Edition customers will have even more privileges of multiple uploads at the same time and synchronization with desktop in real time.
Regular users have 1 GB of free storage and can purchase more for $0.25/GB. Enterprise customer pay higher prices, starting at $17/year for 5 GB. There are no bandwidth charges.
When the Internet Gods were questioned whether should we name this service as Gdrive, they were not kind enough to let us do so. So no Gdrive, yet a great solution to our petty problem.
