Wave was an excellent service that was started by Google some time back. There was a whole episode of people fighting over invites, as this over-hyped web-application was invites only.
I got mine pretty early and when I divulged further in splashes of this wave thing, I found it really interesting. Things like collaborative editing, sharing images, documents and live chat in real time, were things I loved about it.

Recently, Microsoft has been criticized a lot for its inability to act according to changing times and shifting trends. Where i-Pad and i-Phones took the glory all year along and Google still leading the web, Microsoft is yet to make a breakthrough in either. Windows Mobile 7 is far from release and even on the web Microsoft is playing catch-up. In fact the only ray of hope and only thing that’s keeping the Redmond giant afloat is its dominance in desktop.
